All of them have their faces in their phones the entire time I'm ringing up their items, bagging them, etc. Works for me, because I don't have to say hello or chat with them(Most times I do say hello b …
More Americans using less of their vacation time
Tue Dec 4, 2012
I don't have vacation time at my job. I don't even have sick time. If I take some days off, it's unpaid time off. I'm planning on taking three or four days next March to spend with my husband for our anniversary.

Hot jobs, careers defy sluggish economy
Thu Sep 6, 2012
Well I finished my AA in Medical Billing and I have a background in data entry and technical research. I applied for medical billing/office jobs for a year and a half and got nothing but a handful of interviews. For the time being, I'm a cashier at a local grocery store.

Questions & Answers
Was your parental leave long enough?
Not nearly long enough!
I only got six weeks, unpaid, and my company had much more than 50 people. On another note, there was a day last fall when I had to leave work early to take my fiance to the emergency room. My boss mentioned that by leaving early I wouldn't get my perfect attendance bonus. And I'm thinking "Okay...S …
